Terms of use

SetPoints is operated by Chirag Patel, doing business as SetPoints (“SetPoints”, “we”). It gives volleyball clubs and organizers software to run tournaments, programs, play nights and payments. By using SetPoints you agree to these terms.

1. Who can use it

• You must be 18 or older to make an account, except an athlete aged 13 or older whose parent or guardian adds them.
• Children under 13 never get an account. A parent or guardian adds them and manages their details.
• Keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what is done from your account.

2. Clubs and organizers

• A club is responsible for its events, programs, prices, schedules, staff and the people it adds.
• A club only adds people and children it has permission to add, and only for running its programs.
• A club that streams games gets permission from the players, or their parents for minors, before they appear on video.
• SetPoints approves each club and event, and may decline, pause or remove any of them.

3. Payments

Families pay the club, not SetPoints. The club is the seller and decides refunds under its own policy, shown before you pay. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Fees and refunds follow the Fees and refunds page.

4. What you may not do

• Post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading, or that you have no right to share.
• Add someone without their permission, or use other people’s details for anything but the club’s programs.
• Try to get into accounts, clubs or data that aren’t yours, or disrupt the service.
• Copy, resell or scrape SetPoints.

5. Your content

You keep what you add (names, logos, photos, descriptions). You let SetPoints store and show it as needed to run the service, including on public tournament boards and listings the club chooses to make public.

6. The service

SetPoints is free for clubs and is provided “as is”. It may be unavailable at times, and features may change. Keep your own copy of anything you can’t afford to lose. To the fullest extent the law allows, SetPoints is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability to anyone is limited to $100 or the SetPoints fees they paid in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is greater.

7. Ending

You can stop using SetPoints at any time and ask us to delete your data (see Privacy). We may suspend an account or club that breaks these terms. Payment records are kept as the law requires, even after an account is closed.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above. Using SetPoints after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
